Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence 100ml Serum

I was a bit hesitant to try a product with snail mucin, but I am glad I did and I'm never going back. I really enjoy this product. It works really well at soothing irritated and dehydrated skin, it plays well with my other actives and products and my skin feels more nourished and plump. It is a medium gel texture with a decent amount of slip that absorbs well. I use it day and night and it has lasted quite a while even though I used a generous amount.

A clear gel that dries to a soft almost powdery matte finish. Probably formulated for oily skin in humid climates, as it reduces shine, and sucks the moisture from my skin. I am surprised people say this soothes oversensitive skin, I found quite the opposite. Makes my sensitive skin look dull and feel tight and drier than before, and makes it feel irritated and itchy. Since its supposed to have anti-aging peptides ect I gave this to my Hubby who has non sensitive skin to see how it worked for him. He had no problems with irritation, but commented that he seemed to need more moisturiser, as it seemed a bit drying compared to his other serums. After using for 6 weeks his skin has shown no improvement, and is less glowy (probably because this replaced a good serum that was working) so it was a wasted step.

I LOVE this essence. I have very sensitive and acne-prone skin that is prone to redness, and this serum has been so soothing. This is great to heal the skin from irritation, redness and acne marks. It has a cooling effect that nourishes the skin. I don't use this day and night, but alternate with other products. I do not mix this with a serum, just on it's own because of the niacinamide it would not pair well with actives. I would definitely recommend this, especially for dry skin in need of soothing repair to damaged skin.

I am afraid I didn’t notice any improvement on my skin despite using up the whole bottle. This is my first snail slime product. I just got Cosrx’s Advanced snail 96 essence and hope it will work better in my skin than this one.

Been using this product for a month. I think it is not suitable for my skin. Tiny bumps appeared on my T-zone and it’s kinda annoying. I had already tested it with application and without application, so I’m pretty sure that this is the cause of my tiny bumps. Fragrance: It has a light scent but it is not that strong as for me it is still bearable Texture: Easily absorb to skin, non sticky You need to apply moisturizer because it might dried up your skin.
