I expected the lipstick 8 hour protectant to be the same as in the tube; it is not. There is an additive which changes the taste and I’m not sure what it is. It could be a little menthol but I don’t know. Whatever it is, the application doesn’t last as long as when using the tubular protectant and does not have the soothing effect. I’ll be going back to the tube. We're sorry to hear that the Eight Hour® Lip Protectant Stick did not meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be when a product differs from one you've enjoyed in another format. I have been using Elizabeth Arden for many years. The Dillard’s store in Billings was no longer caring my product so I went back to Clinique. Now Imhave been ordering directly from Elizabeth Arden. I like the jar make up so much better as it gives me the moisture that I need for my dry complexion. Good job!!!
