unfortunately this wasn't the tripod for me, as a wedding videographer, it's a lot of work to pick up and move around. it offers more than enough stability, which was what I was looking for. so if you're parking your camera in one location, I'd definitely say this is the tripod for you.

bought this along with a Manfrotto 502HD to be the core of a jib arm/monitor rig - not disappointed in the least. it takes a bit to really get the hang of perfectly adjusting the leg spreader in diff. situations, but once you do it really helps you to make this thing yours and get comfortable with quick/easy setup on awkward ground.

This is really a superb video tripod. It has a geared center column for getting the camera to the EXACT height needed easily. It is stable and incredibly strong and well made. It is the next best thing to having a pedestal.

While this is a great heavy duty tripod, the leg adjusters are similar to the older 3051 (Bogan) tripod's adjusters and while I am EXTREMELY carefull with such things, the adjustment knobs eventually end up stripping and will just turn and not TIGHTEN. I had 3 tripods like this in the past and still have the 3051. Like I said, GREAT tripod, I used mine with video and medium format Hasselblad ect camera's and except for the adjustment clamp knobs stripping, they are EXCELLENY tripods so buy one BUT!! Be careful not to over tighten them. Good luck, hope this helps

I will use it with the Manfrotto 131DD cross arm for four video camera heads in order to videotape sports performances. I have been well satisfied using this product so far... The product does not come with carrying bag / case. If you travel with that you must need very strong bag since it is heavy... Good job, B&H photo that provided the lowest price on the market and excellent delivery.
