DO NOT BUY. THE BOBBINS ARE A NIGHTMARE. Bobbins wind very unevenly, are difficult to insert properly, do not unscrew for changing / disposing thread - and CONSTANTLY jam. My old Singer lasted me 45 years - but I am throwing this one away after very little use. What good is it to have dozens of stitch patterns if the basics are so unreliable?

This is a good machine. It is light which is great for moving it around and not great for keeping it in place for sewing. Still it is fine and works well. It doesn’t like cheap thread, so avoid a lot of hassle by using decent thread. I had to reinforce the weight of the foot pedal by velcroing a piece of wood to it. Otherwise it moved around too much and was annoying. The fancy stitches are fun and the machine is easy to learn. I am pleased with this purchase.

This product is a piece of JUNK - I want to return it. I have been a seamstress for 50 years and I bought this to teach my grand girl. At first I thought it was user error, but after wrestling to keep it threaded and keep the needle from snapping off - I SURRENDER. It is not user error it is this cheap machine. What can I do to get it returned and refunded.
