Seems ok but these APC UPS have a tendency to not recharge, after a power outage. Let's see if this one does recharge.

Easy setup. Live in area with lots of power weirdness/outages. This will feed my internet/VoIP system for close to 9 hours. And protect the equipment. I have had stufff not hooked up to it and fried it.

These are excellent value for the money. A real workhorse with the option to provide even more back up power using the optional external battery pack (which looks identical from the front minus the LED screen). I have 4, 2 of these and 2 external battery packs in the bottom of my server rack, they fit perfectly.

Such a great/essential addition to my br1500gi. Adds hours to my runtime. If I connect them to my sky box and TV it'll run them for 6.5hrs. If I connect them to my satellite modem it'll keep that going for 14 hours !

This product is awesome. I use it attached to my APC Back UPS Pro 1500VA and it turned the running-on-battery time from around 15mins to 60mins (When the computer is idle) This extra battery has been designed to be exactly the same size as the UPS itself and have exactly the same appearance (minus the LCD display of course) This means, aesthetically, it doesn't look weird either. It's completely simple to connect to your UPS, requiring just a single lead connection and the UPS immediately recognises it without any configuration. (I'm not sure if you can connect it when the UPS is powered on, I chose not to). After connecting, the UPS will hum for a few hours whilst it's charging this extra battery and after that, it'll return to its usually quiet self. Nice... very nice.
