Iron Key is now owned by Kensington. It's still military encryption but no more secure sessions. That's the deal breaker for me. I won't buy another one

The support from Kingston was poor at best. I have 2 older model 4 GB Iron Keys provided by my company to keep sensitive data on. The Ironkey Unlocker program stopped working, so I opened a chat support session. The first tech said "one second....let me see if the engineers may have a patch...one second". While waiting for the tech to get back to me, the session automatically closed after 10 minutes. I started over with a chat session with a second tech, who essentially told me my product is obsolete and he could not help me. He then closed the conversation. So there in a nutshell is my issue. Kingston selsl a device that encrypts your data using their software and process. When they declare the device obsolete - you are on your own. Good luck.
