Use this for setting herringbone tiles and any other pattern. Awesome little tool. Projects lines from above. Crossing points away from machine. Niiiice.

Its a decent LASER square, the 45deg line is interesting and usable for some layouts. But that alone does not seem worth the additional 200+ dollars between this and the sub 50 dollar laser squares. In fact I have compared the GTL2 and GTL3 side by side and the GTL2 consistently throws the beam farther and easier to read than the triple price GTL3. If this level were only 20% more than the GTL3 it may be a good buy but I do not recommend it at the current price.

Works well for my purposes, but the laser is a little disappointingly dim, even in dark conditions the laser only visibly and clearly shows up on the floor for the first few feet after that you need some kind of vertical surface for it to hit. The range does work as advertised however, as a wall 70' away was clearly being hit by the laser.

Perfect for tiling. Small and compact. Very impress.
