Sturdy and simple. Tripod holds my Wingspan monocular for tabletop viewing. No more motion sickness from shaky hands. I wrapped the tripod in a tea towel to keep the pokey bits away from the nylon, then slid the bundle back into the tripod stuff sack. Plenty of room. Tripod was first shipped by FedEx, then final delivery by USPO. As always, great customer service from B&H.

I searched far and wide (only on the internet) and purchased 3 tabletop tripods over the past year to support an 80mm spotting scope. This one is my favorite. I goes really low with the legs fully spread. This requires you to compress a finicky latch inside each leg but that's OK since once set up I don't readjust the legs. This feature in combination with all metal construction makes the 3-legged base very stable. The plastic head, however, is a little wobbly but overall this unit is much more stable than an all plastic unit. I am very satisfied even though I will continue to keep an eye out for an all metal unit.

After trying a couple of 3-way Ball Type tripods, I realized that cheap tripods are useless junk. I use a small, 2.2 Watt YAGI Antenna to detect WiFi Routers in the neighborhood and even more distant locations. This tripod is very stable and easy to point. Visitors see the YAGI/Tripod and ask What is that?, so this Tripod also has Eye Candy value. Quality speaks for itself!

Searched for and read reviews of many table top tripods for my new Leupold Ventana spotting scope. There's more than a few Youtube video reviews also. This scope and tripod were purchased mainly for range use from a shooting bench. I was concerned that such a little tripod would work well for a spotting scope but must admit I was pleasantly surprised to find it works great! I have other full size tripods for camcorders but this little tripod is slick. The only downside is the limited amount of height when the legs are spread apart for more stability but that's to be expected from such a small tripod and I knew that before ordering it. It doesn't really matter for my use. If this gets lost I'd buy another just like it.
