This is a really good camera for it price point. Given the demand driving up prices due to human malware, this gets the job done.

Only giving it 2 starts because I foolishly paid 175 for it. This webcam is definitely decent and works fine but is maybe worth half the price.

Seller's description clearly states, in multiple locations, that this product is compatible with ChromeOS. That is why I BOUGHT IT. However, as I discovered when my chromebook wouldn't recognize the device, that's simply not the case. If you go to Logitech's support page for this product it is only compatible with a limited range of Windows and Mac operating systems. They do not offer support for Chrome with this product, and have no control over how this seller advertises it. What was supposed to be a "simple plug and play experience" has turned into two stupid wasted hours of frustration and disappointment. I read reviews, I perused the answered questions, I did my due diligence as a consumer, and I still came away misinformed. Fortunately it looks like this is eligible for a return through Amazon, so I don't have to be misinformed and wasteful.
